Begin with Kilo
These books are an invitation to observe mahina, the natural world around you, and the patterns unfolding within you.
There is no single “right” way to use your book. Begin by noticing. Record what stands out. Return over time. As your observations accumulate, patterns may begin to reveal themselves and your own relationship with Mahina and place can deepen.
Waimaka Lehua
Mahina • Menstrual Cycles • Wahine Life Stages
Use your planner to observe Mahina alongside the rhythms, cycles, and changing seasons of your own body.
Whether you are tracking your menstrual cycle, cycle syncing your food and movement, or observing symptoms related to PMDD, endometriosis, perimenopause, or other changes in your body, this book is designed to help wahine recognize patterns over time, better understand our bodies, and plan with greater awareness of the phases and seasons we move through.
I think that now sits really nicely beside:
Kaulana Mahina
Mahina • Kilo • Intentional Living
Use your planner to observe Mahina, track your own rhythms and patterns, and bring greater intention into your everyday life.
Whether you are tracking sleep, energy, movement, habits, time in nature, or simply what you notice around you, this book is designed to help you practice kilo, recognize patterns over time, and deepen your relationship with Mahina and place.
Reflections of Mahina
Mahina • Reflection • Journaling
Use your journal to slow down, check in with yourself, and reflect alongside the changing phases of Mahina.
Each of the 30 Mahina includes four reflection prompts to inspire deeper thought, while your journal pages give you space to record the current moon, check in with yourself, and write freely about whatever is present for you.
Pocket Kaulana Mahina
Mahina • Tracking • On the Go
A simplified way to track alongside Mahina, designed to go wherever you do.
Dated to follow the same Mahina cycle as the full-size planners, the Pocket Kaulana Mahina keeps things simple with quick logs for sleep and energy, plus open space to track whatever matters to you. Perfect for those who want to notice patterns alongside Mahina without the additional moon teachings, guidance, or practices found in the full-size books.

Mahina in Relationship With Place
The dates and lunar times within this book are calculated using Hilo, Hawaiʻi, as the reference location.
While mahina is present across the world, our experience and observation of her are shaped by place. Local time zones, geographic location, mountains, weather, and the surrounding horizon can affect the date, time, and moment when mahina becomes visible.
Published moonrise times are calculated using an open horizon. In places where mountains or other features block the eastern sky, mahina may become visible later than the listed rise time.
If you live outside Hilo, let this calendar be a guide. Check your local moonrise and moonset times, observe from where you are, and allow kilo to deepen your relationship with mahina, ʻāina, and place.
Practices and names may also vary between islands, districts, ʻohana, and sources.
