A 30-Day Return to Your Natural Rhythm for
Mana Wahine
There was a time when we understood our bodies.
Before productivity defined our worth.
Before we were taught to push through exhaustion.
Before time was reduced to calendars, deadlines, and constant output.
In Hawaiʻi, time was not linear, it was cyclical.
Guided by mahina.
Observed through kilo.
Felt in all aspects of daily life.
But through colonization, patriarchy, and capitalism,
our relationship with time - and with our own bodies - was disrupted. We were taught to override our rhythms instead of listen to them.
As wāhine, our bodies have always moved in cycles.
Cycles of energy.
Cycles of emotion.
Cycles of creation, rest, and renewal.
For some, this shows up through our waimaka lehua - the menstrual cycle.
Throughout our lifetimes and life phases these rhythms continue in different ways - through shifting energy, intuition, and embodied awareness.
From first blood to menopause and beyond, mana wahine does not disappear. It evolves. Even if you are no longer bleeding, your body still moves in cycles -
subtle shifts in energy, mood, clarity, and connection.
This practice is for all wāhine to return to that awareness, in whatever phase you are in.
Guided by Mahina | Mana Wahine Edition is a 29-day lunar practice designed to help you:
• reconnect with your body
• understand your personal rhythms
• observe your energy, emotions, and patterns over time
• and build a deeper relationship with mahina
This is not about doing it perfectly.
It is about:
👉 noticing
👉 listening
👉 remembering
What to Expect
Beginning on Hilo Mahina, Sunday, May 17, 2026, you’ll receive one email each day, guided by the lunar cycle.
Each day includes:
• ʻike about the moon
• a mana wahine teaching
• a pilina practice aligned with the moon's energy
• a simple reflection
Each practice is designed to take about 10 minutes or less. Some days may feel quiet and reflective, others more active or outward. If you miss a day, you can always return.
